Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 and further to take action against the erred officials who allowed the registration of FORM-VII of 4th respondent through fraudulent and illegal activities.

ORDER
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that two different orders have been passed in the same proceedings pertaining to the administration of the college by the District Registrar of Societies, Tenkasi. Hence, the present petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2025 and to take action against the erring officials who permitted the registration of Form VII of the 4th respondent through fraudulent and illegal activities.

2. On an earlier occasion, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that no two different orders had been passed as alleged by the petitioner, dated 03.05.2023. It was also reported that the Inspector General of Registration had ordered a high-level enquiry. Hence, this Court adjourned the matter on 16.02.2026 and directed the respondents to verify the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and to file a report before this Court.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions received from the Inspector General of Registration submits that they are contemplating an enquiry and seeks short accommodation for filing a counter.
4. Since it is reported that the Inspector General of Registration has contemplated an enquiry, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Inspector General of Registration to appoint an Enquiry Officer, ascertain the facts and take appropriate action against the erring officials. In the event that any document is found to have been 3/5
manipulated or created in the name of the Registering Officers, necessary criminal prosecution shall also be initiated. No Costs. 16.02.2026 tta To
