PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.06.2025 and 02.07.2025 and consequently direct the 1st respondent to renew the passport (bearing No. C2442515) of the petitioner.

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the request of the petitioner dated 05.06.2025 and 02.07.2025 for renewal of the passport.
2. It is an admitted case that the petitioner was implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.233 of 2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent. Charge sheet has been laid in C.C.No.1310 of 2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Radhapuram. The petitioner was acquitted on 19.03.2025.
3. In view of the acquittal of the writ petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner for renewal of the passport positively and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
