O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.K. ILANTHIRAIYAN,J.) This habeas corpus petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents 1 & 2 to secure and produce the detenu before this Court.

2. The petitioner is the father of the detenu. The detenu is aged about 19 years and she was missing from 18.10.2025. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent and the same has been registered in Cr.No.680 of 2025 under "Girl Missing". During the investigation, the second respondent found that the detenu eloped with third respondent and her whereabouts not known.

3. Admittedly, the detenu is aged about 19 years and she fell in love with the third respondent for the past four years and she eloped with him to get marry. The third respondent belongs to some other

community, if the detenu return to parents house, there will be an apprehension at the hands of the petitioner. Therefore, the detenu's whereabouts not known.

4. In view of the above, we find that the detenu is not under illegal custody of anyone.

5. The second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Cr.No.680 of 2025 and file a final report in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of.
