ORDER

After hearing both sides, this Court referred the matter to the Mediation Centre on 11.12.2025. Today, the mediation report was filed along with the settlement agreement before this Court. The parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, which has been reduced into writing. They have mutually exchanged the respective articles in the presence of the mediator. They have also agreed to withdraw their respective cases and to file a petition for divorce by mutual consent.

2. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The Family Court, Madurai, is directed to conclude the petition for divorce by mutual consent, if any, filed by the parties herein, within one month from the date of filing of the divorce petition. The mediation report and the settlement agreement shall form part and parcel of this order.
