2. This writ petition cannot be entertained, simply for the reason that the petitioner seeks cancellation of an approval granted admittedly, on 22.05.2024 for a layout by name 'Vijaya Gardens' at Thippanampaati, Tenkasi District.

3. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved, it is for him to take necessary steps to challenge the approval itself and the approval granted, that too more than a year ago, cannot be cancelled by grant of mandamus.

4. This writ petition is dismissed with the aforesaid liberty. No costs.
