O R D E R

Heard both sides.

2. The prayer in the writ petition is that the respondents should not lay road in the petition-mentioned water channel running through the petition-mentioned survey numbers.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions states that the respondents have not laid any road.

4. The real grievance appears to be that some private individuals have laid road. The learned Special Government Pleader states that prima facie, it appears that the road has been laid only on their patta lands. In any event, the undertaking given before this Court is survey will be conducted after giving notice to all the 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.32566 OF 2025 interested parties. If the results of the survey indicate that the petition-mentioned water channel has been encroached, the same shall be removed by adhering to due process of law.

5. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
