ORDER
The petitioners sought for quashing of the impugned FIR registered for the alleged offences under Section 329(4) BNS and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act.
2. The gist of the allegation in the impugned F.I.R is that the petitioners, who are the nephews of the defacto complainant, trespassed into the property of the defacto complainant and caused damage to the properties and thus committed the aforesaid offences.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners and the defacto complainant are close relatives and they have now entered into a compromise and decided to give a quietus to the entire dispute. The parties have filed a joint compromise memo dated 29.07.2025.
4. The petitioners and the second respondent are present before this Court in person. They are identified by Mr.S.Sankar, HC-840, 2/5
Ilathur Police Station, Tenkasi District. All the parties confirmed the compromise arrived at between them.

Considering the nature of the allegation, the relationship and the compromise arrived, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the impugned FIR pending investigation. Accordingly, the impugned FIR in Crime No.36 of 2025 is quashed in entirety and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint compromise memo dated 27.06.2025, shall form part and parcel of the order. The petitioners shall jointly pay a cost of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of the "District Siddha Medical Officer, CCRI, Periyakulam" (Account No.10767823177, IFSC Code: SBIN0000898, MICR Code: 625002601) and file a photocopy of the receipt along with a memo reporting compliance in the Registry.
