ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition, seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to regularize the unauthorized water connections in Arumuganeri Selection Grade Town Panchayat as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms. No.65 Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 12.4.2010 and to restore disconnected water connections.

2.The relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted as such. It is the discretion of the fourth respondent taking into consideration the quantum of water already available. Therefore, we find that there is no cause of action for entertaining the writ petition in public interest.

3.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P(MD)No.1 of 2013 is closed.
