from granting licence to run sand quarry in the tanks situated in S.Nos.217 and 243, Kotankulam village, Mustakuruchi Village Panchayat, Virudhunagar District.

2.Mr.M.Alagadevan, the learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that the lease period granted for quarrying sand is over.
