After submitting an appeal/revision before the second respondent seeking cancellation of the illegal subdivisions in the properties at Survey Nos.101/1K, 103/1D and 101/J at Kallimandayam Village, the petitioner seeks the early disposal of such appeal/revision.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has also filed a civil suit in O.S.No.11 of 2025 before the Principal Sub Court, Oddanchatram and that an interim order operates in favour of the petitioner in such suit. In spite of the appeal being filed on 15.07.2025, he submits that the appeal has not been disposed of till date. 2/5
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 6. He submits that the proceedings before the District Revenue Officer would be disposed of on merits within three months after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the seventh respondent.
4. Considering the nature of relief claimed and the above submissions of learned Additional Government Pleader, it is not necessary to issue notice to the seventh respondent in this writ petition. Instead, without making any observations on the merit, this petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 15.07.2025 within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the seventh respondent.
