ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide necessary protection to the petitioner and her husband.

2.According to the petitioner, he belongs to Backward Community and she married one D.Tamilvendar, who belongs to Hindu Scheduled Caste Community and the said marriage was registered before the Sub-Registrar Office, Erandampulikkadu on 01.03.2010. In this regard, the petitioner's family members lodged a complaint before the second respondent police. Pursuant to the said complaint, the second respondent police registered a case for 'Girl Missing'. Apprehending that the respondents 3 to 5 would take steps to terminate their life for performance of caste denial marriage, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Today, when the matter taken up for final hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that now, both the petitioner and her husband are residing at Kolkata from 2013. petitioner and her husband now residing at Kolkata for 5 years and if at all the petitioner faces any life threat from her family members in future, it is always open to the petitioner to approach the concerned police by filing a complaint if any such complaint is filed, the respondent police is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
