ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.604 of 2025 registered for the offences under Section 296(b), 115(2), 351(2) of BNS, Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(va) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

2. During the course of arguments, when this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw this petition. However, the learned counsel would submit that in respect of the same occurrence, the petitioner had also lodged a complaint on 26.10.2025 to the first respondent and that the respondent Police may be directed to consider the same.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's complaint also would be considered and appropriate action would be taken in accordance with law. 2/4

4. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the complaint made by the petitioner. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
