Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay compensation a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- including the ransom of Rs.8,20,000/- to the petitioners for the illegal detention and brutal attack made by the police team headed by the eighth respondent.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay a compensation of Rs.15,00,000/- including the ransom of Rs.8,20,000/- to the petitioners for the illegal detention and brutal attack made by the police team headed by the eighth respondent.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks liberty to approach the authority concerned afresh.
