ORDER

The petitioner traces title to property in S.No.30/12 of an extent of 32 ares from one Muniyan.

2. According to the petitioner, patta No.227 was originally issued in favour of Gunasekaran/the 3rd petitioner. Therefore, on the ground that patta Nos.610 and 896 were issued erroneously to one A.Ramachandran and A.Natarajan, the petitioners had filed an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer and Tahsildar. The present writ petition relates thereto.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer would pass orders on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the pattadhars.

4. In view of the submissions of learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for cancellation of patta Nos.610 and 896 after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioners, A.Ramachandran 2/4
