The petitioner asserts that he is currently the owner of 14 cents in Re-survey No.95/2. Upon applying for a patta, it is stated that a joint patta was issued along with one Vijayakumar. Later, the petitioner submitted an application for subdivision and issuance of separate patta. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered after issuing notice to the joint pattadar, Vijayakumar.

3. Patta No.212 stands in the name of Vijayakumar and the 2/5

petitioner. This patta is in respect of 0.60 ares in survey No. 95/2A2. The petitioner makes a claim in respect of 14 cents. Therefore, it is necessary to issue notice to Vijayakumar before a decision is taken on the petitioner's request.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's request for subdivision and separate patta. After providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the joint pattadar, a speaking order shall be issued within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
