Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and peaceful enjoyment in Ayan Punja Land in S.No.41/8 to the extent of 20 cents and S.No.42/16 to the extent of 10 cents, in total 30 cents, situated at Puliyur Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.10.2025 within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate Police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and peaceful enjoyment in Ayan Punja Land in S.No.41/8 to the extent of 20 cents and S.No.42/16 to the extent of 10 cents, in total 30 cents, situated at Puliyur Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.10.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's complaint was enquired into and the same was closed.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition stands closed with a direction to the second respondent Police to serve the closure report on the petitioner forthwith.
