ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent to process the petitioner's passport application dated 28.06.2024.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the second respondent brought to the notice of this court that the petitioner has been implicated in criminal case in Crime No.195 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent police station, which has culminated in filing of charge sheet in C.C.No.137 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the concerned Trial Court seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. Based upon the order to be passed by the learned Trial Judge, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
