Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint, dated 29.09.2025, under the criminal law in the light of the dictum laid down by the Hon`ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the first respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint, dated 29.09.2025, under the criminal law in the light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's complaint was enquired into and the same was closed.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition stands closed with direction to the respondent Police to serve the closure report on the petitioner forthwith. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs. 19.11.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Indu 2/4
