The relief sought for cannot be granted in the writ proceedings. This is because, Section 77-A of the Registration Act empowering the registering authority to cancel the registered document has been struck down by this Court. The petitioner has to necessarily go before the jurisdictional civil Court for the relief now sought for. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
