ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) This writ petition has been filed to prevent the pave work made in agricultural land, for the purpose of putting up salt land (Uppalam).

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that agricultural lands are converted and put to use for production of salt and thereby agricultural land is being destroyed and subsoil water is also polluted. This is causing great difficult to neighboring agriculturists.

3.The grievance expressed by the petitioner appears to be justified and the same has to be properly looked into. A representation has been given by the petitioner to the first respondent in this regard.

4.We only expect the Revenue Authorities to look into the grievance of the petitioner in all earnestness and address the same, if there is any substance.

5.With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
