Seeking to quash the impugned First Information Report in Crime No.465 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent submits that the investigation has been completed and the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karur, by way of e-filing bearing No.LTN20220001533C202500425 on 30.11.2025, which is yet to be numbered, and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karur, to take the final report on file, as soon as possible. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, if so advised.
