representation, dated 26.05.2006, to the Jamapandhi Officer of the second respondent, seeking to include his name in the computer chitta for patta No.48, Kurukkapatti Village, Pudukkottai District. In the revision petition filed by one Alagappan, the second respondent also passed an order, dated 10.09.1988, confirming the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukkottai, with regard to joint patta. Since the third respondent has not complied with the said order, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.05.2006, is directed to be disposed of by the third respondent, on the basis of the order of the second respondent, dated 10.09.1988.

5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.05.2006, and pass appropriate orders, if not disposed of earlier, on the basis of the order of the second respondent, dated 10.09.1988 and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CO) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
