O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent for renewal of passport to the petitioner on the basis of her application dated 27.10.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the third respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Crime No.24 of 2020 on the file of the third respondent. However, a closure report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai on 28.09.2024.

3. In view of the closure report filed by the third respondent police, the first respondent is directed to consider the application made by the petitioner and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
