The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to disburse the retirement benefits forthwith, due to the writ petitioner, along with interest, within a stipulated period.

2. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner fairly made a submission that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the retirement benefits were settled to the writ petitioner. However, the writ petitioner is disputing the quantum of the amount settled by the respondents.

3. In respect of the grievance relating to calculation and quantum of the amount, the writ petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authorities for adjudication and redressal of the same.

4. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
