ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the impugned final report in C.C.No.95 of 2007 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi, Trichy District, which was filed for the offences under Sections 120B, 420, 464, 506(ii) of IPC.

2. During the course of arguments, when this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw this petition. However, the learned counsel would submit that since the case is pending from the year 2007, the learned Magistrate may be directed to conclude the trial within a stipulated time.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Since the case is pending from 2007, the learned Magistrate shall conclude the trial in C.C.No.95 of 2007 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any accused is absconding, split up the case as against the petitioner and conclude 2/4

the trial within the aforesaid time limit. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
