Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 08.09.2006 and thereby direct the respondents to allot the WCR Plot Nos.56 and 57 situated at Thuvakudi Industrial Estate, Thiruchirapalli, in favour of the petitioner, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to allot WCR Plot Nos.56 and 57, situated at Thuvakudi Industrial Estate, Thiruchirapalli, in favour of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner, based on his application, dated 08.09.2006, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard both sides.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he made an application dated 08.09.2006 to the fourth respondent, seeking to allot WCR Plot Nos.56 and 57, admeasuring 452.2 square metres, for running his small scale industry. Since, 46 plots out of 147 plots, were allotted to some other persons and the application of the petitioner has not been considered, he also made a representation, dated 08.04.2013, to all the respondents and the same has also evoked no response. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice, if the application of the petitioner, dated 08.09.2006, is directed to be disposed of by the second respondent, as per law, for which, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 4, has no serious objection. 5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 08.09.2006, on the basis of his representation, dated 08.04.2013, and pass appropriate orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of as above.
