Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose the Mercy petition, dated 29.07.2011 preferred by the petitioner as against the order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings C.No.35416/AP2[3]/2010, dated 06.08.2010 confirming the order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings AP 13/A2/2009, dated 08.12.2009, confirming the order passed by the fourth respondent in his proceedings C.No.F1/PR.74/06, dated 20.03.2009 and by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 22.03.2013, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the Mercy Petition, dated 29.07.2011, preferred by him as against the order of punishment imposed on him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the said Mercy Petition forwarded to the first respondent is still pending.

5. Considering the fact that the said Mercy Petition has been filed by the petitioner as against the order of punishment, without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner in the Mercy Petition in respect of such punishment, I only direct the first respondent to consider the said Mercy Petition, dated 29.07.2011 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
