The Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 65 days in preferring the appeal against the order, dated 11.07.2025 made in E.C.No.111 of 2023 on the file of the Commissioner for Employees Compensation cum Joint Commissioner of Labour Tribunal at Tiruchirappalli in so far as liability to pay the award is concerned.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the respondents and also perused the records.

3.Considering the reasons assigned and also taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to take the appeal on file, if it is otherwise in order and list the matter in the usual course.
