O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to disburse the adequate compensation to the petitioner for the land acquired from him comprised in S.No.44-3A to an extent of 0.70.0 hectares situated at Thiruthipatti Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, vide proceedings of the 3rd respondent in D1/226R/86 dated 14.08.1986.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, he has, however restricted his relief to the extent of consideration of the representation dated 12.12.2011, which had been given to the 4th respondent, for disbursement of the compensation in respect of the land acquired from him.
4. At this juncture, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if a reasonable time is granted to the respondents, the representation of the petitioner will be considered and suitable orders passed.
5. In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the fourth respondent to consider the representation, submitted by the petitioner dated 12.12.2011 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
