Seeking to quash the impugned First Information Report in Crime No.95 of 2023 dated 23.05.2023 on the file of the first respondent, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent submits that once the final report is filed by way of efiling, a CNR is assigned immediately; and that in the present case, the Page No. 2 of 4

first respondent filed the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, by way of e-filing, pursuant to which CNR No.TNMD140006822024 dated 14.03.2024 has been assigned.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, to take the final report on file forthwith. The petitioners are at liberty to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, if so advised.
