Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property in Survey No.168/27 in Palanangudi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District measuring an extent of 1.75 Acres Punja land based on the Petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2011 and 12.04.2013.

The petitioner is before this Court, seeking a direction to the respondent to issue patta in his name, with regard to his property in Survey No.168/27 in Palanangudi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District and according to him, neither civil suit nor rival claim whatsoever is pending in respect of the said property.
2. Heard both sides.
3. When the matter is taken up hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2013 is disposed of, by the respondent, as per law, within a stipulated time limit.
4. It is seen that the petitioner has submitted his representation seeking patta in the year 2013 and it is not known whether such a claim still subsists due to passage of time.
5. Under such circumstances and also considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.04.2013 and pass appropriate orders, if not already passed, on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
