(Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Habeus Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioner's son by name K.Vijay, son of Kasinathan, aged about 27 years old before this Court and set him at liberty inaccordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner is the mother of the detenu. The detenu went to Devanancheri Village for avocation and thereafter he did not return back. Therefore the petitioner called his employer but no reply from the employer , therefore the petitioner lodged complaint before the second respondent and the second respondent registered CSR No.743 of 2025 and subsequently registered First Information Report in Crime No.491 of 2025 under 'Man missing'. During investigation the second respondent found a dead body in the mortuary at Hyderabad which was similar to that of the detenu,which was also duly informed to the petitioner, even then the petitioner failed to co-operate with the second

respondent to conduct DNA test to confirm whether the body is detenu or not?

3. In view of the same, the petitioner or her family members are directed to co-operate with the second respondent to conduct DNA test with the body which is found at Hyderabad to identify whether the body is detenu or not.

4. With the above direction, the Habeus Corpus Petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that if the petitioner or her family members failed to co-operate for DNA test with the second respondent, the second respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.
