ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition is filed challenging the impugned Docket Return Order dated 05.08.2025 in an unnumbered GWOP No. of 2025 (TNCT1627F2559M704160) on the file of the District Court, Tirunelveli.

2. In that order, the trial Court questioned the maintenance of the relief sought for by the petitioner with regard to the children who are residing abroad and as to whether the Court has jurisdiction to pass orders.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has produced a judgment in Ramakrishna Balasubramanian Vs. Ms. Priya Ganesan and others reported in AIR 2007 Madras 210, wherein this Court has considered the effect of the foreign judgment. Hence, the Trial Court is directed to number the petition filed by the petitioner.

4. In view of the same, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed. No costs.
