ORDER

By asserting that the land in S.No.115/72 is adjacent to the petitioner's mother's house, the petitioner had applied for patta in relation thereto.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. He submits that the petitioner is a resident of Karaikeni Village, whereas the request is being made for vacant land in Anaikaraipatti Village. Without prejudice, he submits that the request of the petitioner would be considered and disposed of on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the 3rd respondent.

3. In view of the above submissions of learned Additional Government Pleader, it is not necessary to issue notice to the 3rd respondent in this writ petition. Instead, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's request for patta within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the 3rd respondent herein.
