ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 30.03.2023 and 06.08.2025 and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property in Survey No.172/1, situated at Pudhuthamaraipatti Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3.According to the petitioner, he is the lawful owner and is in possession of one-third share of the undivided property comprised in Survey No.172/1, situated at Pudhuthamaraipatti Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District. Despite repeated representations dated 30.03.2023 and 06.08.2025, the third respondent has failed to consider the petitioner's request for issuance of patta. The inaction of the third respondent is arbitrary, unreasonable, and contrary to settled principles of law. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representations will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the aforesaid submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 30.03.2023 and 06.08.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representations shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The third respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs. NCC : Yes / No (K.SURENDER, J.)
