ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the impugned proceedings of the first respondent dated 04.08.2023 as being without jurisdiction, illegal, and contrary to Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, and consequently to direct the first respondent to forthwith refer the petitioner's application dated 04.01.2023, made under Section 64 of the said Act, to the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority established under Section 51 of the Act for adjudication of the petitioner's claim for enhancement of compensation.
2. With the consent of the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner had earlier approached this Court by filing W.P.(MD)No. 17654 of 2023. By order dated 06.02.2025, this Court granted liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the Principal District Court, Tirunelveli, if aggrieved by the award passed by the District Collector, Tirunelveli, dated 04.08.2023. Accordingly, the petitioner approached the Principal District Court, Tirunelveli, and filed L.A.O.P.No.182 of 2025, which is pending adjudication.
4. While the matter stood thus, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to forthwith refer the petitioner's application dated 04.01.2023, made under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, to the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority established under Section 51 of the said Act for adjudication of the petitioner's claim for enhancement of compensation.
5. In view of the issues already pending before the Civil Court in the said L.A.O.P., the request made by the petitioner in the present Writ Petition cannot be
