O R D E R

(Made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.) This petitioner has filed the present petition complaining that his minor daughter who was born on 08.04.2007 had been missing on and from 22.10.2025. The petitioner had given a complaint and it has been registered only as CSR by the respondent police. Similarly, the daughter had also given a complaint seeking police protection.

2.Again we must record appreciation of the third respondent, Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station for having registered only a CSR in CSR.No.691 of 2025. They followed the correct procedure in not having registered an F.I.R, since it is only a matter between the father and the daughter.

3.Today, the detenue had been secured. She had married her own cousin. The detenue had come along with her sister-in-law/ her husband's sister. The petitioner is also present. We had referred the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre at Madurai Bench of Madras High Court and they had all agreed to live peacefully in their respective homes. 2/5

4.We hope the relationship would mend in the near future. The detenue had been handed over to her sister-in-law/sister of her husband to lead her life at the matrimonial home. With the consent of the petitioner, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
