This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to take action against the fourth respondent, for misappropriation of public funds, under Section 205 (1) (a) of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, 1994. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent submitted that

after thorough enquiry, the fourth respondent has been relieved from all the charges and therefore nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.
