Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the 2nd respondent to refund the amount of Rs.1,64,403/- illegally collected from petitioner's savings amount based on petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Honble Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and thus render justice. 1/4

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to refund the amount of Rs.1,64,403/- illegally collected from petitioner's savings amount based on petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2025.

2. Even though the petitioner has sought for a positive Mandamus, it is seen that the petitioner has made a representation on 04.02.2025 for the very same relief.

3.In view of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
