Prayer : Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent, the Principal Secretary to Government, School Education Department, Chennai, to pass appropriate orders on the revision petition 1/4

filed against the respondents order in proceedings Na.Ka.No. 016884/C4/E1/2024 dated 08.07.2025, under Rule 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, within such time as may be fixed by this Honble Court, and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, and thus render justice.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the revision petition filed against the respondents order in proceedings Na.Ka.No.016884/C4/E1/2024 dated 08.07.2025, under Rule 17(b) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules.

2. The petitioner had been placed under suspension by order dated 08.02.2018. But, however, disciplinary proceedings has not yet completed. The petitioner has filed a revision on 12.08.2025 before the first respondent and the same is pending for consideration.

3. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision dated 12.08.2025 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
