COMMON PRAYER: Petitions filed under Section 5 of Limitation Act praying to condone the delay of 282 days in filing the AS SR(MD) Nos. 27191 and 27192 of 2025.

For Petitioner :

Mr.S.Venkatesh (In both C.M.Ps) For Respondents : Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, (In both C.M.Ps) Addl. Govt. Pleader COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan, J.) These petitions have been filed to condone the delay of 282 days in filing the above appeal in A.S.(MD)SR.Nos.27191 and 27192 of 2025.

2. Earlier we had condoned the delay in representation. In the affidavits filed in support of these petitions, it had been stated that by the time, the petitioner could understand the crux of the issue and to take

a decision to file the appeals, the time had lapsed. Thereafter, he had to identify the counsel and institute the first appeals. The documents were left at Dindigul and he had to collect the documents.

3. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. As a matter of fact, the Government has also filed an appeal before this Court against the very same judgment.

4. Taking all the factors into consideration, the delay is condoned and the petitions are allowed. Registry is directed to number the appeals, if they are otherwise in order.
