Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's appeal petition dated 22.10.2010 for mutation of patta in respect of house property bearing D.No.2/41F and comprised in Survey no.315/3, Vairaperumalpatti, Sathiyamangalam Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, measuring an extent of 0.02 cents. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal petition dated 22.10.2010 for mutation of patta in respect of house property bearing D.No.2/41F and comprised in Survey no.315/3, Vairaperumalpatti, Sathiyamangalam Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, measuring an extent of 0.02 cents.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the appeal of the petitioner was disposed of by the Additional Chief Secretary/ Commissioner of Land Administration, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Chepauk, Chennai, in respect of the survey number stated supra, on 30.04.2014, wherein, time limit was also fixed for the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kulithalai, to complete the enquiry proceedings pending on the file of the second respondent. Till date, no order has been passed by the said Revenue Divisional Officer, resulting the petitioner to approach this Court with the present Writ Petition.

3. Notice of motion was ordered as early as on 13.06.2013. No a counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondents so far.

4. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner, dated 22.10.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent herein, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
