Heard both sides.
2. The case on hand pertains to the assessment year 2021-22. The assessment order was passed on 30.11.2023. In respect of the particular defect, only one assessment order can be passed. In this case, the second assessment order was passed on 08.102.024. This is a clear case of duplication. On this sole ground, the second assessment order dated 08.10.2024 is quashed. The writ petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
