By asserting that the petitioner is a widow, who is residing in a small house in survey No.136/7 for more than 25 years, the petitioner had submitted a representation requesting for a free house site patta. The present Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer would examine whether the petitioner is eligible under any of the applicable schemes and pass orders on merits.

3. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's request for a free house site patta and pass orders thereon on merits within three (3) months from the date of receipt of 2/4

copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
