ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2025, made in connection with Office Memorandum No.Oo.Mu. 3839317/2025/T7 dated 15.10.2025, regarding Bhoomidhan assignment in S.No. 390/2A, Patta No.582, to an extent of 0.40.5 hectares, situated at Alagupatty Village, Dindigul West Taluk. The petitioner also seeks transfer of the property from his father, Muthusamy Nadar, to himself and other eligible legal heirs.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

According to the petitioner, he is entitled to Bhoomidhan land in S.No. 390/2A, Patta No.582, to an extent of 0.40.5 hectares, situated at Alagupatty Village, Dindigul West Taluk, as a legal heir of Muthusamy Nadar. He submitted a representation dated 08.10.2025 regarding transfer of the property. The second respondent has not disposed of the representation despite statutory obligations and the petitioner's lawful entitlement. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the aforesaid submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second
respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner, the fifth respondent and also to the other persons, who may be affected by such decision. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
