O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.] Alleging that the order of this Court dated 14.10.2025 passed in W.A.(MD) No.2871 of 2025, directing the respondent to conduct an enquiry in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Act and to pass orders regarding the departmental proceedings initiated against the petitioner, has been disobeyed, the present contempt petition has been filed. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the enquiry was not conducted by the contemnor in consonance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Act and the order passed by the Correspondent is without any authority or legal sanctity.

3.The learned counsel for the respondent states that the respondent institution is a declared minority institution and is not administered by a school committee. Hence, the Correspondent is the competent authority to initiate

disciplinary proceedings. He further states that in this case, the disciplinary proceedings were initiated and challenging the enquiry proceedings, the petitioner has filed a writ petition and the charge memo has also been challenged in a separate writ petition and the finding of removal from service is subject matter of a third writ petition.

4.Considering the fact that the order of this Court which is alleged to have been disobeyed, has in fact been complied with, there is no merit in the petition seeking action under the Contempt of Courts Act. Hence, this Contempt Petition stands dismissed. The dismissal of the contempt petition shall not prejudice the petitioner herein in any way.
