ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in FIR in Crime No.133 of 2025 dated 28.09.2025 on the file of the Sub Inspector of Police, Seithur Rural Police Station, Virudhunagar District.
2. The case of the prosecution is that a road roko was held by the petitioners, pursuant to the death of two villagers in an accident that had occurred on 28.09.2025, at about 13.50 hours.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the body was handed over to the parties concerned and was also buried. Thereafter, the petitioners have dispersed peacefully without any unwarranted incidents.
4. Considering facts and circumstances of this case and the nature of the offences involved, I do not find any necessity to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.133 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police and hence, the same is set aside. This criminal original petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
