By relying on a settlement deed dated 29.11.2023 and patta No. 5383, the petitioner had applied for a survey of the land in survey No. 310/6A1 of an extent of 20.50 ares.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He points out that an appeal has been filed by one Assammal Kani against the petitioner and one Azarudin seeking cancellation of the pattas, including the patta relating to survey No. 310/6A1.

3. Given the pending appeal relating to the cancellation of the patta relating to multiple survey numbers, including survey No.310/6A1, the petitioner's request for grant of patta cannot be considered at this juncture. Therefore, by leaving it open to the petitioner to reapply upon the appeal being disposed of, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
