By relying on the patta No.8054 standing in the name of the petitioner's grandmother, Pangajammal and Pragalambal and the release deed dated 05.04.2024 executed by the other legal heirs of the petitioner's mother, Saroja, the petitioner had applied for a survey of lands in survey No.248/4, 248/6, and 248/8A at Madakudi Village, Lalgudi Taluk.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the first and second respondents and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepts notice for the third respondent. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that notice would be issued to the owners of relevant adjacent lands and their objections would be considered before a decision is taken.

3. The petitioner has placed on record the patta in his grandmother's name. The release deed in relation to the relevant properties is also on record. Therefore, a case is made out to consider the petitioner's request.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's request for a survey after issuing notice to owners of relevant adjacent lands and considering objections, if any, from them. The entire process shall be concluded within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, the revenue officials may avail of the assistance of the jurisdictional police.
