The petitioner's mother, Lakshmi, was in possession of 78.5 square meters in Town Survey No.29. Upon the death of the petitioner's mother, a manual patta was transferred in the petitioner's name, but the TSLR was not mutated. After submitting a representation seeking both transfer of the details of the owner and change of classification in the TSLR, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for all the respondents. He submits that the District Collector has to make a decision because it involves a change of classification. He submits that orders would be issued on merits by the District Collector.

Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the District Collector to consider the petitioner's request for mutation and change of classification in the Town Survey Land Register within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
